The Low-down

A lot has happened in the last two days. I got some yarn in the mail:

And started knitting it right away, in a pattern Katie picked. Since Katie bought the yarn and the socks were for Katie, I figured this was only polite.

I've got this much done so far; ready for the heel!

Also, not very happy with the heel on Clessidra. It's in Seed Stitch, and is much larger than a regular sock heel, and it is huge and stretchy on my heel. I'm going to go ahead and finish the first one, but if I finish it and don't like it, I'm going to frog back and redo the heel. Man I love knitting!
